Boston University's Vietnamese Student Association

XIN CHÀO, BẠN!

About Us

The Association works to advocate unity among the Vietnamese community as well as connecting ourselves with other communities as a whole. We aim to reflect this goal through cultural, educational, and social events. Whether it be through a cultural event, such as one for Tet Trung Thu, our weekly family dinners, or through collaborating with other VSA's, we hope to bring forth an organization that is open to all to build a sense of community for all students.

Established in 1984

Boston University’s Vietnamese Student Association (BUVSA) is a student organization at Boston University that provides an opportunity for exploring, sharing, and preserving Vietnamese history, culture, and experiences. It also promotes friendship and awareness both among club members and within the Boston University campus.

Alumni Network

Join us!

BU Vietnamese Student Association has an Alumni Directory! It's a resource that can be used by both past and existing members to be able to connect and network with each other as it relates to career planning and graduate education planning, and a means to create a stronger network among BUVSA alumni.

If you are a former alumni of BUVSA and are interested in joining our Alumni Directory, please fill out the form below! This directory will be used as a resource for our BUVSA community to be able to network with each other.

ACE Program

What is Anh Chi Em (ACE)?

Anh - Big Brother

Chi - Big Sister

Em - Younger Sibling

ACE stands for Anh Chi Em, and in Vietnamese, these are

words that you would call your siblings. Anh and Chi are

your older siblings (bigs), translating to Older Brother

and Older Sister, while Em are your younger siblings

(littles). Families are Big and Little pairing(s).

In this program at BUVSA, we hope to create a welcoming

environment within VSA that makes members come back event

after event.

If you have any questions, please

contact our family chair, Lea Tran, or e-mail us

at buvsa@bu.edu.
